Jad wants to be a good captain. He really really does. His ultimate dream is to one day command the Enterprise, although as he and the Banshee get into more and more trouble, that dream is fading. While he is a full blooded Betazoid, and flushed with Betazoid pride (don't call him a Human), he supresses his mental powers, namely to keep himself sane, given the thoughts of the crew that surrounds him. He does have the ability to do minor telekenisis - moving small objects with his mind and whatnot. Jad is also a very sarcastic yet indifferent person. If he has the ability to pass an unpleasant task onto someone else, he will do so. If he has to do it himself, expect him to whine and complain about it the whole time.
